DOES this game have online multiplayer?
I'm a little confused here...

I just downloaded Garfield Kart from a website because I wanted to try it before I buy it and the game does not have a demo. It's the PC box version according to the image on the website.
It did not come with any steam files that would usually be required to run a steam pirate game.

Ok, get over that now let's move on ok?

The game has a multiplayer menu, with Local Game and Online as options. I didn't expect them to work with a pirate copy, but it made me check the store page here because I thought the game didn't support online multiplayer.

So my question is this, does the Steam version have online multiplayer, or did the PC box version of this game only support online multiplayer?

Are we talking about two different versions of the same game?

Either way, it's not a bad game and I intend to buy it on here eventually, but I would like some clarification about the gameplay options.

Challenge your friends whatever platform they're on (mobile, tablet, PC, Mac, etc...) thanks to the CROSSPLATFORM multiplayer mode!

The Steam version is single-player only.

There isn't a code for it. You just switch to the beta and let it install. It's labelled "multi_test" in the betas list.
