Black screen

Right so I have amassed over 8 hours in this game and I can say that it's an absolute banger.
A while ago (Probably like 3 months) I couldn't play this game anymore. And seeing that is spend like 2 € on this game I decided that it is now time to look for a fix. When starting up, I get the normal settings interface. After clicking on 'play!' however, the game gives me a black screen. One thing worth mentioning is that, when I verify the intergrity of the game cache, it tells me 1 file is missing. Verify again and it is aquired. After starting up the game again and getting yet another black screen, it tells me 1 file is missing again.

How do I fix this? I crave Garfield kart

Had this exact same problem too. Try turning the windowed mode off so that its fullscreen. That seemed to solve the problem for me anyway. Hope this helps! :)
