I too would like a translation of RM95, if only for nostalgia's sake. It was literally the first game creation program i'd ever tried. I can remember quite vividly actually, I came across it because a group of people had created a Sailor Moon fangame using it (I believe it was called Sailor Stars Future or something to the effect of that).
Cause that would be nice. Many users would finally be able to work with it. I just hope the awesome music of that maker doesn't get translated to MIDI and instead gets looped OGGs.
RPG Maker 95 does have a unique feeling to it that is more of an old school PC game more than a console game, like 2000/2003 have. I do prefer the 2000/2003, but having 95 adds the possibility of people challenging themselves to do a game with only what 95 has to offer and nothing else.
Man that'd be fun to try. Doing a episodic game using the various RPG Tools from over the years.. Chapter 1 could be RPG School Dante 98, Chapter 2 could be RPG School Super Dante, Chapter 3 could be RPG Maker 95, Chapter 4 RPG Maker PS1, etc etc.
And why even limit yourself to the enterbrain ones, could do some episodes using Verge or Adventure Construction Set for instance.
