Thank you so much for the reply. I have tried useing f5 for fullscreen but get the same error message :(. Sorry but how do I navigate to toggle GDI/DD? Also I have Directx11 and that DirectDraw is enabled. I own a game made with Rpg Maker (Bought it on steam) and it goes fullscreen fine
Secondly: F4 (or Alt+Enter) toggles full-screen, but F5 (in the Steam version of RPG Maker 2003, at least) brings up the options window I mentioned.
Lastly: the various RPG Makers all work subtly (or not so subtly) differently to one another, underneath the user interface. It could be that your example RPG Maker game from Steam was created using a newer version (e.g. XP or VX).
Also, my RM2k3 purchase was not on steam. I have v1.8 I believe
You may need a patch like DynRPG or similar to fix your fullscreen issue.
