A question: Is the online mode still available or not?

I like this game. But I do not want russian because russians killing Ukrainians. Why it is impossible to use English or Polish or some other languages? I understand that it is an old game so nobody will add Ukrainian localization. But please, allow us to not see russian!...

Window 10 here, 3080 laptop GPU. I start a new game, it loads up a new game, and after the environment is loaded, it just crashes. My play time (fault finding) is more than two hours. Having said that, I really do not want to refund, but to make it work. Verifying game cache - done. Updating GPU drivers - done. Uplay offline - done. Blocking game exe file in firewall - done. Changed video O/P from mini-Display port to USB-C - Display - done. ... Any other ideas?...
