what's the alarm password??

You can find the password on a paper found on the Dr office. The answer is
2932

---------
December(12) + 17 = 29
July(7) + 25 = 32
Put them together you get 2932

Except the piece of paper says

'december 17 = 27
july 25 = 31'

So this makes no sense.
I hate it when they put wrong hints in point and clicks -,-

its actually scribbled out on the paper, and its very difficult to make out what it says, so you probably read it wrong, if not then idk

It's scribbled out, but still very visible. You can clearly see the second character has a straight line going up and down, meaning it can only be a 1 or a 7. So I guess it could have been 21/27 and 31/37, but definitely not 29 and 32, that much is pretty easy to see.

I would have never figured this one out. Bad puzzle design in my opinion. Too many ways to combine digits. Or letters for that matter since the keypad has letters. Also the 'ITWARD' was leading me on a false hunt.

Yup. In the original Demo the puzzle was much better. No idea why they would make it so annoying.

I was pretty sleep deprived when I played it and wrote down 31 instead of 32 in my notes so I ended up taking too long to solve the puzzle

I know I'm committing thread necromancy, but I agree - not a fan of this puzzle. There is no logic to adding those dates together. I was looking everywhere for a calendar that might have dates on it or something. Maybe if it said DECEMBER+25 = ? or something... great game otherwise so far.
