Hello Powtatoez,
- If you're playing the new version of the Fran Bow game on Windows, the save game files are here:
- If you're playing the original (old) Game Maker Legacy version of the Fran Bow game on Windows, the save game file is here:
%appdata% points to \appdata\Roaming by default, so %appdata%\roaming likely doesn't exist on your computer. You CAN find the Game Maker Legacy (old) version save game by navigating to %appdata%\Fran_Bow, but the save files for the new version of the game are not found in that location.c:\users\<Your Windows Login Name>\Appdata\LocalLow\Killmonday Games AB\
Each save game consists of two files:
FranBow_#.save
FranBow_#.jpg
where # is 0 (zero) for the autosave
and
# is 1, 2, or 3 for the three manual saves the game allows.
c:\users\<Your Windows Login Name>\Appdata\Roaming\Fran_Bow\
The only save game file is the autosave (no manual saves), which is called:
savedata.ini
Also, the \Appdata\ (c:\users\<Your Windows Login Name>\Appdata\) folder is hidden by default (as you may already know). You'll need to unhide it if you're trying to navigate to it using File Explorer or most other GUI tools. Here's a guide to making it visible: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nJXT6pO6FZgtg6Lpm02coKudtwo9VdZ0/view.
If you're unsure which version of the Fran Bow game you're playing, take a look at this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/362680/discussions/0/3826413850822180638/.
I hope this helps you and that you recover your save game(s) before you lose it/them.
Thank you!
