And you're right that the Legacy Game Maker version of the game does cap the frame rate to 30. The new (Unity) version has three settings for VSync in the game's "Options" menu. "Every Second VBlank" locks the FPS to 30, "Every V Blank" locks the FPS to 60, and "NO V-Sync" has unlimited FPS.

Would be great to avoid to go in GPU settings to lock them! I hate VSYNC predetermined to 60FPS
