Similar games?
I loved Fran Bow. A+++ game. I never thought I'd love a point and click game, but now the addiction is here. It is a very welcome break from FPS and RTS games.

Are there any other excellent games like Fran Bow? What do you recommend?

Thanks!
you should play sally face its kinda like fran bow as compared to the gore and story line. I'm pretty sure the game is still being developed chapter wise, but all and all its an amazing well developed game!! :)

there is a game out there called "alice: madness returns" it's a 3rd person hack n slash story game, that game brought me here mainly because of the unique creepy graphic design. If you are looking for a game with a similar charm to it that game may just help you, the story is also resolving around all these creepy mental issues.

Sanitarium. While playing Fran Bow, I was feeling like it was literally a clone! There are so many similarities. I find Sanitarium way better though, and darker.

Well if you want two suggestions that nobody else has made I really recommend looking up "Emily Enough" and "The White Chamber" both are totally indie adventure-style games. The first should easily be obtainable on most indie-old games sites for free, it's from the early 2000s and is meant to emulate the old "Lucasarts" style of adventure games. In that game you are a spoiled rich heiress, who is totally insane, and locked in an Asylum and trying to escape. It's full of dark humor, while the set up is similar to "Fran Bow" let's just say in this one your character is totally guilty and a complete monster, and the whole idea is played for laughs (and quite successfully). "The White Chamber" should be obtainable easily from the Studio Tophis website (just do a search for "The White Chamber") I believe it's always been totally free. This is more of a science fiction story about a girl waking up from a pod in a science-fiction/space station type environment, and it gets totally surreal, this one you probably won't finish without some kind of walkthrough as it can be pretty obtuse as to what you need to do to actually get the proper ending (it's meant to be played through multiple times though), there is some pixel hunting, and oh yes... there will be gore... like Silent Hill Levels (conveyed with their indie technology).
