Chapter 2 - Help with potion or possible bug?

Hi all,

I'm stuck in chapter 2 where I'n supposed to make the potion for the twins. I have already added the blue rose, Fran's blood, hair from the twins, and the salt & pepper. I have the pentagram on the ground with candles placed. I've read numerous walkthroughs and unless I'm mistaken, this should be everything I need, however it still tells me I need another ingredient.

Can someone advise on what I still have left to add? Or is there another condition I need to fulfill first for the story to move forward? For context, I do have some baking soda in my inventory still, but it won't let me add this to the boiling pot. I also tried using the good recipe on the twins in hopes of 'telling them I am ready' but this doesn't seem to work either.

Silly me. Another several minutes of sleuthing through this forum helped me solve this. For anyone else stuck here, please note that you have to light the candles before the potion will 'finish'. This was not clear/intuitive to me, and to at least one other person who came here to post about this.

I had the other problem. Didn't realize you had to stab yourself to get the blood. Which in on itself is open to interpretation..

Yeah I got stuck because I misread the directions and thought I needed the sisters' blood. Eventually I figured it out though.

It happened to me and the comments are old that none of them gave me the solution, but apparently I have a bug with the sisters that do not appear to me, it is strange

Hello Pam,

Since you now have the "Toad on Board" achievement unlocked, it appears that you figured out how to solve the potion puzzle. Congratulations.

Not a bug, right?
