Hello Shaamaan,
The game does not have any language selected by default. There is a "Language Selection Screen" that appears when you first start up the game that looks like this: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-V4ozvekwP4MS1wcjNHbE1HWms. My guess is that you may have had the black screen issue discussed in another thread in this forum when you first started up the game. If that's the case, you may have accidentally selected a language by clicking on the black screen when the invisible cursor was near the Russian language selection on this "Language Selection Screen". Of course, you did not see this happen if you had the black screen issue when you first started up the game.
If you want to see the language selection screen on your computer when you start up the game, you would need to delete the game's "save game" file which is called "savedata.ini" and is located here by default on Steam:
c:\users\<Your Windows Login Name>\appdata\Roaming\Fran_Bow\savedata.ini
If you delete this file and then start the Fran Bow game up again, you'll see the "Language Selection Screen" as the game starts up. You probably have already discovered that you can more easily change the language the game uses once you've started the game up for the first time by using the "Options" menu which is a menu pick off the "Main" Menu which first appears when you start the game up after that first time start-up.
IMPORTANT: if you do decide to delete the "savedata.ini" file as described above, you will delete your progress in the Fran Bow game, and have to begin the game again from the beginning. So it is not recommended for gamers who have already begun the game.
I'm sorry for your inconvenience.
In that case, sorry for the post - there's no language issue, there's just the black-screen issue, but you appear to be well aware of it already.
Thank you for your response.
Of course, and sorry for my poorly edited first response. I meant to say that there is no language selected by default when you first start up the game. I've now edited that first reply.
I do hope that you enjoy playing the game now.
