I don't believe so, but not confirmation on that.

Not unless you backed the game. The other game is called Sui Generis.

Though, why do people ever think they are going to get another game for buy into a game for $15?

Wishful thinking? I would not blame anyone for that.
What did the backers pay who got Sui Generis in one deal with Exanima?

I paid 20 british pounds for Sui Generis which at the time (March 21st) converted to $38.92 Canadian.

At that time Exanima was not mentioned anywhere. I had no idea I was getting this as well.

I paid 15€ for Exanima. 20 GPB are about 27 EUR. So let's wait and see how much Sui Generis will cost down the line in early access (should it be an early access product.) If it's again 15€ then the difference would be minimal ^^

I think Exanima has enough value for 15$. Even more to that, it's not finished. We are clearly getting more content in the futute. At the current state it can keep you occupied for around 10 hours without getting tedious. If you bring this to regular AAA game price, keeping the ratio it's around 40 hours for 60 dollar game. To my memory, there are very few AAA games these days that can keep you playing for that long.

I have over 60 hours in the current version, and it's just starting to feel like I've exhausted everything it has to offer. $15 for 60 hours is a pretty sweet deal, and what we have now is roughly 25% of the whole game. I can only imagine how much time I'll spend on the next update!

I agree there completely. Any game that manages to properly entertain me with anything approaching a 1hr/1€ ratio is not a bad purchase in my book. Many games fail to do that and I've learned not to buy those that do not look promising to me.

... unless there is a humble bundle. My steam library is full of games I've never touched for which I paid 1€ per game or so. Even more in my humble library that are not yet registered to steam. Lot's of games for little gain so far. CURSE YOU Humble Bundle for those low prices! D:
Examina is the steping stones to there game Sui Generis. I bought Examina not knowing about Sui Generis, If i had known I would have waited for Sui Generis.

SG isn't expected for over a year and a half. Getting Exanima isn't going to ruin anything. Exanima isn't even planed for full release until end of December, though the dates Bare Mettle tends to be really optimistic and I wouldn't actually expect it then; but they seem to be artists and they will release them when they feel they are what they are supposed to be. Waiting for SG just doesn't seem like a reason to not get Exanima, Exanima is going to be a full game to stand on it's own two feet.
