The Lever and Pits maze on Level 1
Is there anything in here worth going through the maze for? I'm sure I'm at the end, and it's just a tiny room with two unlockable gates protecting it, with a lever in the on a wall in the center of the room. Other than that, I see nothing.

Two reinforced chests with lvl2/3 RNG loot. But the maze isn't the end, got another obstacle to get past after that.
I can't figure it out. Tips? Spoliers welcome.
Where are ya stuck?> I won't tell ya how, but I'll nudge ya in the right direction. If its the maze part you are stuck in, my suggestion is to pick up bottles along the way, then while in the maze, place them on the ground when you are at a crossroads so you know which one you have already gone through.
I figured out all the way to the end. Though, instead of bottles, I used books. All that work for a sword, a pair of lamellar vambraces (I already found plate gauntlets) and a chain coif (already had one). Damn RNG,
Well done. It was a fun challenge for me at least.
Yes but when you come out of there with breast plate and full helm, you walk tall.
It's a neat challenge that makes you think, but for me it took me like an hour to get to the end and I was pretty disappointed with the RNG loot, but that's RNG for you.
Hey ppl I got to the puzzle of the 5 levers in 1 room:

and to the lever in the other room:

and I got past the closed trap doors:

then I tuned the corner and I found this:

It looks like a rotated part of the corridor I have to walk in but I can't find any way to rotate this corridor part. Has anyone come across it? I have read others coming across this part and not mentioning it and I don't know if its the game of if its me that's stuck.

Yeah, I think the loot should be a little higher in value for the challenge given, at least a guaranteed steel breastplate or helmet. Maybe that's asking for a bit too much.

That's from using an old saved character. Creating new character will get rid of that glitch, I had the same thing when the .6 version came out. 'Cept my wall was a pit and I fell right in.

Dems da breaks...

To be honest I think it is perfectly fair and good as is. You have a chance of getting really good loot there (got exceptional steel breastplate twice there), there is a chance the loot is crappyish for you. Loot spawns at beginning of level and doesn't change through the playthrough, it is the players choice to go through the hallway that has a skull sign outside, don't expect to go through it and be rewarded as you deem fitting for going through the easier but still dangerous route. After understanding how levers and doors work, it is not difficult to quickly find the solution to problems.

The game is not made to progressively reward the player for him passing some part, the game world just exists as it does at that moment and we make do with what we can, make the choices ourselves, and also have to learn to accept the consequences or results of our choices or what the world throws at us. Spending 1hr in the puzzle section is not a big deal at all, also the puzzle section can be completed quite quickly, why should the reward be great because it took someone an hour to solve a 10min puzzle? The games of today are very player centric, the game world is made for the player not the people who live in it, Exanima is built the other way round.
Also there is this room with a circular block cell in the middle:

Around it there are 4 levers, one on each side. Is that a puzzle too?

No, it is not a puzzle. Those levers do not have any functionality (you can tell this by the lack of sound after using the levers).

Those levers do not do anything, you can usually tell if the lever makes any kind of mechanism noise or not if it is actually triggering something.
