Co-op?

I swear this game would be a blast to play with a friend or even a full group of 4 people, all going trough the dungeon trying to survive and find the exit.

Is co-op planned for a future update?

I think they'll add this when the game is done. Mechanics, TT, content, etc comess first from what I understand.

Honestly I'd just love to experience the development with a buddy, playing arena matches or hopping back in with each update to check out new content together

I think we all do.
But it's very unlikely. MP is a huge undertaking! Mid-developement I can see this would create more problems than anticipated.

That would be a great addition indeed. Even remote play or split screen / same screen 2 player would be nice

There will be multiplayer eventually, but with some limitations seen it discussed regularly. The focus is on getting the game to 1.0 first, and a proper multiplayer release needs to be solid. I believe that multiplayer was hinted at being local area network or low latency only due to difficulties ping would cause with a game like this
