Crouching in combat.
How do you use it?
I just found out I love using it against shields.
I wiff on purpose and the second swing is usually a certain hit on their legs.

Does it also increase the power of an oveahead attack? Like, crouching just as the blade is reaching the target.

If it does (it would make sense I guess), this game just got a lot more like Chilvary. :P

Try crouch-uppercutting (no other attacks or standing allowed) in the arena and see how far you can get, it's good fun. The AI seems to get a bit confused when you stay crouched for more than a moment. Quite entertaining!

I like making a guy like a viking, than go all the way from novice to expert boss with an axe, a shield and pants, spamming crouch attack. What i do is crouch, wait a bit, than attack going forward, with an normal or overhead attack, sometimes looks like my character even takes a little jump from the amount of momentum i build, and they always lower their guard when u keep on crouch.

I use crouch to get a little extra speed on overhead attacks. I also use it to duck incoming attacks while simultaneously landing my own. I do prefer not enhancing swings with crouch because it's one of a few particularly effective techniques BM hasn't prepared the AI for, so they can't use it and it's difficult for them to defend against it. There's practically no downside to it unless you aim poorly and overextend. Pure cheese, regardless of a player's creativity.

Yes, i understand your feeling, but... just go there, create an scandinavian folk with 2 meters and put him to mercilessly jump at your enemies with an axe, its top notch fun guaranteed my friend.

Of course, if i want a challenge i'll not resort to cheap tricks, but hey, its a game. And certainly they will soon update the AI, so i better get good at it, dont u think?
