Multiplayer mod?

Are the devs working on a multiplayer, or is there an existing community mod that adds it already similar to morrowind?

some 6 months ago (maybe?) I remember reading a dev blog talking about how they hired someone full time to implement multiplayer. That was the last I heard of it though. So It seems they're working on it but don't have anything to show yet.

I thought I follow this project quite carefully, but I have missed this information. I do remember that on December 2019 they said on Discord that the work on multiplayer should begin for real in January 2020 according to the plan, but so far it hasn't (as far as I can tell). I even answered some questions here on Steam based on that information. I won't be doing that anymore.

Multiplayer is planned but not guaranteed for the 1.0 release, if it ever makes it into the game at all. Syncing physics between different clients is extremely difficult even on a small scale, and with Exanima being almost nothing but physics getting multiplayer to work at all will honestly be a miracle. Don't expect mods to fill in here either, even the small amount of "mods" we have right now (with only one of them really being a mod) are extremely difficult to make, and they're extremely basic. Implementing multiplayer as a mod would be almost literally impossible.

Well this game wont have much value without proper multiplayer (at least co-op). I really love the mechanics and climate, but it serioulsy needs multi
