floor trap doors reset levers?

Ok so I got to the part with the sign that has a skull on it. little further you pull some levers, the floor trap closes and you have to run over it, but I was too slow. now I cant seem to do it again because the first door is closed. is there any way I can reset the levers and try this again or do I have to start over and run over both the traps in 1 go?

Likely have to start over if you're stuck in the middle. If you're sprinting with shift you should be able to make it past both pits.

Yea I know shift sprints faster, I know how to get across. I was just being causious and going slow not to get spooked or jumped by anything. you sure I have to start over for this? feels like I came a long way already and I don't wanna have to redo all that :(

Unless you placed an item nearby that would allow you to cross over the pits then I think you may be out of luck.

Not sure there is anyway to reset that door, I also made the mistake of pulling that first lever and locking myself out of the corridor. but next time instead of trying to sprint across, you can keep the floor traps shut so you can stroll across them at your leisure :) Use the physics of the game :) No need to rush.

yes that is the one. But yea, maybe i'll go looking for a ladder to lay across the pit or something?

Yeah I got locked out of there too the first time.

You can try to lay something across, it surely could work. Although it would take some time, as there are more than one to get across.

Me, I am lazy and took the easy way. ;)

Yea I went back to the big room just before the sign, and there's planks and pieces of wood laying about everywhere. So I carried 2 of them to the pits and walked across :) It took about 15 minutes, a lot faster than starting a new game though ;) thx for the help everybody!
