Exanima devs should really look at half sword and maybe contact their developers to see how they made the characters not trip and fall so much.
When I see something laying on the floor in Half Sword game I just run right into it which kicks it away. If I see some barrel or box I run into it so it falls over and its contents is revealed to me.
If I do this i Exanima my character will get stuck or faceplant instantly even if I just walk into it alot of the time.
And if the combat would get ruined by increased stability in Exanima then maybe just have the increase while walking around out of combat. Because It is beyond annoying to fall on everything and being more afraid of stairs and holes in the ground then actual enemies.
Blocks are more common in Exanima I would argue.
Try both, they are cool games that are truly unique.
