noticed its anti magic. to but you can also cast magic after putting it on. item description says you feel calm and isolation or something like that. think it might be used later on to raise dead on the ghouls and faels. found a piece of lore saying people have raised the ghouls but it drives the necromancer mad. you can also cast raise dead on the ghouls with and with out the helmet but it does nothing rn.

yes they matter if you want to learn a specific magic spell faster
no they dont matter if you were hoping for more lore points after that event.
saying yo are you makes you more tune to Force
and saying you are corlian makes you more tune to Mind
saying you are neither make you tuned to both.
and being attuned to one branch in thaum just increases the amount of xp you get. i think considering i started learning magic left and right after everyother room i went in.
