This game is extremely dark. If you are to be able to see, you need either a torch or a glowing helmet. But a torch makes using a shield, a two-handed weapon and dual fighting impossible (and the torch itself won't be used as a weapon in the avatar's left hand); using the helmet, however, leaves you few choices among the large variety of helmets found in the world. I wish there is more light or I have some ways to create some light, like making some fire, or at least there are more types of equipment that allow me to see clearly. Putting the torch on the ground isn't quite convenient nor satisfying.

There is a 2h sword which will serve you as a torch if you put a right crystall in it.

In fact I am having a hard time convincing myself that it's okay to restart from the portal

On the 7 th level where the ground is broken if you jump down to the right side there is a small ledge after that jump down to the left side and there you will see the opening in the wall climb through there and to the right there and press the stone on the wall and there you will find the holy shield of light which glows bright all the time so you can see better .I had it one time but died trying to get out. There is big ugly bald headed creature down there with 4 arms with a weapon in every hand he only shows up after you grab the shield.It is still very hard for me to talk about my experience it was terrifying.If you still want to try doing this after i told you my story i say good luck and may the force be with you.Pro gaming Tips.

Thats something that bothers me a bit as well. I wish their would be some kind of lantern or something similar that you can wear. I dont really like to use the helmet or other eqipment only to be able to see everywhere. If Light thaumaturgy allows you to see in the dark im happy though
