Arena armor paint
Why dont devs implement armour painting system into arena mode? For a price, of course. The more expensive armour is, the more you have to pay for the paint.

It's planned for a future arena update along with a doctor and I think some other stuff.

Maybe armour 'painting' is nice to have later on but for now if people want to collect a matching suit of gold-trimmed black armour for example, then it gives some more incentive to play while further development continues.

Incentive is exactly what I need to play this game right now.

Maybe leave gold trimming out of this, but armour painting should really be present, especially on brigandine type of armour parts, where many multiple colour variations are available. It makes no sense having an item with 3 colourable parts, which can have like 300 variations. Its impossible to build a matching armour with such variations.

Huh 300? Gold/silver-trimmed matching sets aren't super difficult to put together, same goes for coloured brigandine for example. Just make sure to get a merchant and set them to Adept armour only or whatever rank you want, and obviously make sure you have enough money so you can buy the things you really want once they appear.

Well first you hire a merchant and then click on them and when the shop window appears you can select it at the bottom.

I dont get it. Now i noticed that when you hire people, their profession appears. They are all combatants, so i presume i must wait till i can hire merchant, yes?

Eventually one will appear yes.

Got it. This is amazing. New possibilities. Still, how many colors there are? Lets take brigandine couters, for example. They have inside and outside color as well as the stitching color. There are lots of variations. I would like to be able to at least paint the stitching or sometimes leather parts of the armour like straps.

By the way, unrelated question. Which plate armour is best? I think maximilian style has best stats, but the helmet is really the most interesting part. I see differences between many master rank helmets.

The maximilian styled armour should be the best. My go to helm is usually the Armet.

I usually look for maximum coverage and always a little neck protection reducing horizontal attacks sliding up and hitting the neck. Generally it doesn't matter much and there isn't really a 'best'. There are some newer sets that have better stats though. At master rank you'll pretty much only want to increase crush protection and maybe a little pierce(not sure if master ogre does pierce too - you'd think it does).
