Got stuck at the axe throwing range :(

I was going throw the rooms looking for gear when I see An axe laying on the floor behind a counter,
So I did the reasonable and ran in to the counter and ragdolled over the counter.
Turns out there is not enough of a run up to get out :(
Don't be like me, think ahead.
P.S The axe is just for show I could not pick it up :(

Seems like both sides are the same... if you could roll over... why can't you do the same to come back? I'm sure you tried a lot.. but looks the same to me so it gotta be possible.

Thats a fate of a greedy man. Wanted throwing weapons before they were implemented hmmm?

Have you tried to remove your armor and weapons to run faster?
Also, try to crouch underneath it.

Fastest way to run is holding right click with the cursor far away AND holding shift. Maybe that helps.

Also, if there are movable objects nearby, try building a ramp, or at least something that you can trip over. Items from your inventory also count.

Thanks for the replies, I ended up restarting. I should have tried removing my armour. I just wanted to hit things with the axe :(

You can get a similar axe on the first floor, the half naked undead guy behind the door at the very start has one. Just try not to get your character's face lopped off getting it.

Funny thing, yesterday i did exactly the same thing!
Except i used a Target to climb over the counter and get out of the range, in case i got stuck :P

There's lots of places you can get stuck on or die by accident, curiosity is a dangerous "trait" in this game... i once fell into a giant tub by climbing stairs leaning on it and i couldn't get out.


Also, if you like axes, i believe you have a guaranteed War Axe and Bardiche spawn in the armory on the same floor (they spawn as "props"), they are more or less direct upgrades to the Hatchets and Two-Hand Axes from the 1st floor.

My new game is going great, managed to kill my first skellington and have nice gear for me and my companion :)
