oooooh left hand flail is my JAM yo. it's where I always keep my mace.
Some issues with it still like it clipping through the enemy body and loosing the damage mode if the hilt collides with weapons/body, but still the most fun weapon to use

As far as anything I've read, there is no evidence of them having widespread use, and there are some obvious flaws in their design; ie, the instant that chain gets caught on anything, be it an enemy's armor or weapon, you no longer have control of it; the design also adds a completely negligible amount of power to your swings. It's a bad design, hence why it was never used in any real capacity. Any morningstar or flanged mace is at least as good at defeating armor.
That being said, it's still one of the coolest weapons you can have in a fantasy game.
fighting against shields feels like a shotgun, concerning its pretty easy to land some hits.
the sound of the chain is so cool =)
have some problems with distance-judging here right now, and its also pretty hard to simple rotate your ball. I'm happy to be able to learn some completly new stuff.
I love it =)
