So uh, what's the news on Co-op

They didn't even start the work on Coop, lets be honest they have better things to do like finishing the story and the arena mode before even thinking about adding coop.

Also PVP is coming first.

In fact, they did do some early prototyping of multiplayer a few years ago, and it was reportedly their primary focus at one point, but yes the information above is essentially as it is. Also, I'm not sure, but I think PvP and co-op might come at the same time. At least in the form of co-operative arena and PvP arena, if not "co-operative" story mode.

PvP is definitely coming. You can search it up on the BM discord for confirmation from Madoc himself if you want. He last said it a couple of months ago I think.

Co-op would be a nice addition, but it seems more like something that'd be in Sui Generis, and not in Exanima. Small hallways of Exanima wouldn't work as well with 2 people. It also kills the atmospheric feel of the game.

As for coops, maybe there'll be some chicken coops or something in Sui Generis. I mean in some early footage there were castles and villages so it wouldn't surprise me.

Well there will be atleast one more companion, perhaps several more depending on how runs go. I think if both players generally take it seriously it should be great fun, and of course the healing will be even more sparse.

arena pve multiplayer would be nice as well. would really like to try that with my fiancee, since we both like the game.

Faily certain that will be a thing; I think they confirmed it a while ago, but I see no reason as to why they wouldn't do that.
