Magical Items paired with Thaumaturgy

When I first saw thaumaturgy in the Kickstarter video, I was so pumped up to see it one day in Exanima. However, when I encountered the few magical items in Exanima, I thought about how powerful they would be when paired with thaumaturgy coming one day. Will there be magical items that block the power of thaumaturgy like the "night vision" helmet? Just asking because it could limit how powerful the player could be.

the NV helmet does not block thaumaturgy, so there is another helmet that does, which answers your question :p

No no no, in the scroll, the guy said that there was a helmet that blocked his power, which I must have assumed was the helmet behind the bookcase.

Why would he have hid it behind the bookcase? Its far more likely that as the scrolls suggest it has been taken down into the underworld.

HopeDIV v is correct. The NV helmet is a part of the "smuggled contraband" storyline. The Blocking helmet is talked about in lvl 4. How is the NV helmet on an earlier level but a guy we are chasing has it at the same time in the later level?

The helmets can't be the same ones
