You can already sort of half-hand. If you do thrust with the two-handed sword he actually half swords it, but it's kinda buggy and not really effective right now.
I've noticed that yeah, I don't think it's buggy at all but I've only used two-handed swords in the single player. By half handing I specifically mean holding the sword inverted.
Another thing I wish was added was the ability to equip a secondary loadout in arena. Weapon switching is already a thing (Just press r) but you can't set up your secondaries unless you play something like elimination and use somebody elses weapon.

I find it funny that it seems like the amount of red damage you receive isn't really affected too much by where an attack hits. If it's unarmored, and the weapon has good cut damage values, here's lots of red damage... doesn't matter if it's your hand or toe lol..
Though it would be really cool/interesting if they could go a bit further with the damage system and reduce the amount of red damage you take to certain parts of your body, but add certain mechanics to getting hit on extremities that are exacerbated when hit with red damage there.
For example, being disarmed if hit in unarmored hands... or gaining a limp if hit in the foot.
Seriously though, how did your username not get you banned yet, boi?
OnTopic: Half-swording equivalent for maces. Yay/nay?
Why would you need to use the pommel as a mace when you already have a mace...? And the shaft is already able to be gripped without special consideration.
You would defeat the entire point of using a mace in the first place. There's really no alternate way of using maces, well there is but it would be highly inefficient and pointless.
Twitch banned me a couple times but I've had moderators defend me from offensive name reports on battle.net so I guess dildo's are okay on some platforms.
At least my name is tasteful.
How the heck could you half-sword a mace? I guess you could have an alternative stance with a mace such as two handing a single handed mace.
