That was the feeling back during the Anarchy Online launch, but this has been a much smoother experience even though I'm running a 5-year old PC (getting 60 fps on Ultra settings with balanced resolution scaling and V-StYNC).

32GB RAM
Windows 11

I like that Funcom has supported all of their games in perpetuity for better or worse, but this beta hasn't been all the "Dune & gloom" (for me), that I keep reading. I feel like if you keep a "well-oiled" potato, that's half the battle. The other features of the game more than make up for the serviceable combat.

It's a rare game that makes me feel like I can't wait to get home to play more.

Yes, I liked the game too, the optimization of the game is fine, but this is just a test version of the game.

I'd like to think they've had enough experience from all their previous MMO launches. Funcom is a bigger beast now and seem to generate much more revenue. Picking up an IP like Dune or Conan says a lot about them and their reputation now.
