I think this right here is one of the biggest problems. No, you don't know which ones in enemy lineup are the 'weak' monsters... but I have noticed that the AI does know which of your monsters is the weakest. Whenever I bring a lower level monster in my team of other high levels, the low level is always the first primary target if no one is provoking. The computer knows which monsters are your weakest, and will generally go for that target. This often results in the the weaker monster getting wiped out early in the first round of combat, leaving me in a five on six or four on six fight.
It might be nice to be able to see the level of each enemy creature you are up against, although as the player we have a lot of advantages against the AI already.
