its not working

i click play but a black screen is just there

This is a compatibility issue. Big Fish Games has several posts on their forums regarding this issue, but no fix is listed.

The same thing happened to me. I left it running (the black screen) and eventually it loaded. The game play isn't that good though. Especially compared to numbers 1 and 2. For some reason my cursor is off which makes is hard to play :c

The game loads up - just takes about a minute or two. I am not certain as to why it takes so long, but reading around implies the game is trying to make an internet connection to the game website (which apparently doesn't exist/is down)

Run Notepad as administrator (right click + "Run as administrator"), open the file "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" (could be different if your Windows installation path is different; also, the "hosts" file may not show in the folder by default; try to type its name manually).

Then add the following line at the bottom of the file:
"
127.0.0.1 www.sandlotgames.com
"

Save it, exit, and start Cake Mania 3. It should start immediately :)

it says there is some missing files, so the download is on hold, what do i do

different problem, with me it "loads" but not really, the cursor keeps on moving but nothing happens and its like it freezes everything else on my computer. I tried uninstall it but still it dont work.

Anyone else got issues right now?
