Dead spot on screen

On one of my computers I have a really annoying problem with targeting. If the targeting cursor is on a certain spot, on the middle right part of the screen, the cursor disappears and I'm unable to shoot. On some levels it's just a minor annoyance. On others, it's a major problem. The area seems to be about 1" to 1.5" across.

My other computers don't have the problem and I can't figure out what causes it. All are running Hi-res, 3d accelerated mode. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, drivers, etc.

Any ideas?
