Confirmed: It works!!! It's actually very simple. I went to local files and deleted the two small videos from the video folder. They are just two splash screen videos from Buka Entertainment and Ulysses Games. I think those videos have some exotic coding which let the game crash. There are no gameplay videos you would loose. Just delete those two splash videos and you should be able to run the game fien eve without compatibility mode. Despite the age of the game, you can set in the game the resolution up ...
