Bonus Chapter: animal puzzle

Can somebody please do a walkthrough on how the hell you are meant to do this? Spent forever trying to complete it to no luck and don't want to skip it.

Underneath the hint button there's a button that says 'Strategy Guide', it lists all the moves you have to make.

The Strategy guide doesn't help at all for this puzzle. The letters are not correctly assigned to the animals.
