Death Star [Spoilers and Tips]

Finally managed to beat the last mission and its pretty hard.
You fly into the Death Star with the M-Falcon and blow it up just like the movie.

General Tips:
1. Play on whatever res you like, but if you fail several times you can try to lower the res to 640 because it will be slightly easier to judge where the rest of your ship is. Remember, most of it is on your left side. Your cockpit is not in the middle of the ship.

2. Most of the objects you face on your way in CAN be shoot. So shoot them!

3. Dont expect to manage this mission on 1 or even 10 tries. Its long (about 9-12 min) and you need to learn all the aspects of it, then beat it. I recommend flying without the cockpit overlay view (.).

This will be specific tips on each part of the level and video at the bottom by others.

1. Start: Huge Square area A
Always fly at 100% for the whole mission!
Set Laser to 4 (4 full, 0 nothing) and Shield to 2.
This will give you good laser power while still flying fast enough from incoming Ties.
Shoot all the objects you need to. Dont try to roll to much, its slower than just shooting.

2. Watch out for those containers:
Set Laser to 0 and Shield to 2.
Fly in the top right of the pentagon tunnels.
When you enter the big room do NOT fly into the middle but fly hard to the left and then back towards the exit tunnel on the other side. Do this on both "big rooms".

3. Huge Square area B:
Same as the starting area.
Set Laser to 4 and Shield to 2. Fly and shoot.

4. Targeting a secondary power source:
When you get to a T section go RIGHT!
(Going Left will take you to the Death Star laser beam tunnel. Destroying a lens will disable it, but its optional and you must fly back)
Set Laser to 4 and Shield to 4.
Fly into the tight tunnel and use the red pipe as guidance and keep most of your view to the right. It is these areas that for some reason are easier in 640 res.
At the end, where the tunnel becomes square. Stay in the bottom right-ish corner.

5. They are setting up a turbo laser:
Laser 4 Shield 4.
Just before you exit the square tunnel target whos targeting you.
First one should be a infantry laser gun.
When you exit fly down and towards the right. You will see a tractor beam generator ala the one Obi Wan turned off in New hope. Continue flying past it on the right and go for the turbo laser guys. Use auto turret AND shoot yourself as well (important)
Kill the laser guys (the actual turbo laser will not be destroyed) and target the 2x space infantry AND the ties behind you. Kill them all with a mix of auto turret (F) and forward laser. Quickly press X to get twin forward laser once they are dead.

6. Another tight tunnel:
Laser 4, Shield 4.
Fly towards the now dead soldiers. Thats where the new tunnel is located.
Roll your Falcon so that the red pipe is at the bottom. Stay on the right side etc.
Roll as needed. This is tight.

7. Huge Square area C:
Laser 4, Shield 4.
Same as before, but this time shoot everything! You will fly back here very soon.
Once you see the reactor entrance room move laser energy to shield.
(Not settings ala 4,4, but you can remove laser energy and boost your shield with it!)

8. Reactor:
Laser 4, Shield 4.
Switch to warheads and twin shot with X.
Target the generator and switch targeted component to reactor (,)
Once you enter the reactor main room fly a bit to the left. Slow down to 50% if needed and once you see the Xwing fire the torpedo, lock on and fire yours towards the reactor.
Turn around and fly back the way you came.

9. Huge Square area D. (Move the fleet away from the Death Star):
IMPORTANT: Do NOT fly under 85 speed! Otherwise, game over.
Laser 3, Shield 2 and throttle back to 100% (Gives you speed 89) before you exit the reactor special tunnel entrance area. Fly strait and from this point on, ONLY focus on the flying NOTHING else!

10. Last tight tunnel:
Laser 3, Shield 2.
Use the red pipe as guidance and keep yourself slightly to the right.
Half way the tunnel will become even tighter... this is the hardest part.
Use the red pipe as guidance, fly close to the wall on the right and roll as little as possible, but do it when its clear its needed. Which will be a few times, but not that many. Too much focus on rolling and you will crash.

11. Huge Square area E:
Laser 3, Shield 2.
You made it past the hard part! Now just continue on flying while shooting obstacles.
Your laser should now have enough power to do the job. Continue flying until you see the round exit with greenish color (Endor moon), fly out and watch the cut seen. You made it!
