Key command to change cockpit view?

It looks like slash and period can toggle HUD and exterior view, but how to you see the inside view with only the HUD but no cockpit?

To be clear, in TFTC, not XWA

You can press D to get the old classic HUD back. then Period(.) to remove the cockpit.
