Yep, already installed and played a few missions. Its as good as I hoped it would be.
The rolling is also up/down on right stick as well for me. But i got so used to it, it doesnt bother me anymore. I already played Xwing Alliance with it.
I have energy management on D-Pad, like in Star Wars: Squadrons.
A = fire weapon
B = Target Ship in Sight
X = Target nearest fighter
Y = Toggle Target camera
Bumper = Increase/Decrease Speed
Start/Select = Previous/Next Target
Left Stick button = Match target craft speed
Reight Stick button = free look
But Im still playing around with it too. Also using the keyboard.
I miss the Star Wars Squadrons control scheme of using the right analog stick as a throttle.

It works great and feels GREAT. It's the late 90's all over again!
Open up Xwa Joystick Config.
Under the first tab 'Settings', on the bottom half you'll see pairs of values for Yaw, Pitch, Throttle and Roll.
My defaults were set at Axis Indices 0, 1, 2, 3 in that order. I swapped them to 2, 3, 0, 1 and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful.
Give it a whirl!
