Compatible joysticks?

Hello! I’m thinking of getting a simulation game for a change and X-Wing Alliance might be it. But I’m curious about whether I need a joystick. Even if I get one, what would you recommend?

I came across these two online. Any pros and cons of each? Also, will they work on Windows 10?

I've gone through several joysticks, including logitech (which i don't find durable).

The thrustmaster t16000m is the most durable, has great flight controls, and all the buttons you need, and also at low-medium end of cost (60usd). Tends to not need recalibration as often as others (i can't remember the last time i recalibrated it). As for it working on win10, I can't say; I play XWA on win7, but I would guess that it does.
