how much of each candy do i take

cant figure out how to get the coprrect weight. walkthrough says to grab the taffy,l which kills me.

Fruit caps, then fruit orbs, then chocolate pretzels, then peanut butter cups, then sugar caps. Do it in that order, then put the bag on the scale. Should work. Let me know if it doesn't!

Been playing this recently, and got told this solution - it works... I just don't know WHY it works? How are we supposed to know that it's THOSE particular sweets?

Each one has a particular weight and price. You have reach the proper weight/price to not bust the bag and unlock the door

This is late, but may be helpful for others. There's a store receipt you can find elsewhere in the mall with the expected total.
