I know troublemakers, and whenever I discipline them they confess. However the people that break my machines never confess and never stop coming. How is it possible that every single customer that uses a machine is a troublemaker.
About 7 of different slot machines and a handful of arcade. My casino is hell on earth right now.
So I payed money for nothing? Is there anyway to fix it?
=/ bad investment
It also fixes the graphics system from trying to use 16bit modes (that don't exist on modern windows), restores the intro movie, and limits the framerate so the animations don't freeze.
I haven't really tested it much, so I give no guarantees. Also, I don't have anything to do with this re-release of the game on Steam, but I did work on the original game 20 years ago.
To try it, download this file and unzip to your Casino Inc folder (find it by Right Clicking on the game in Steam then hit Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files. Double click on the exe to run it (don't run it through Steam)

So basically what you're telling me is... From the things ive seen you post about this, my biggest competitor over the past 20 years ive picked this game up on and off, was the game itself because it thinks i was cheating it..... It was the true cause for my sabotage, not the other casinos? And yet i still adapted and would take over the cities regardless... There's something poetic and ironic about this, the copy protection was just max hard mode 😂😂 hey is that also why there would barely be any staff if not at all to hire after beating a city and continueing playing after awhile or is that just game limitations? Also why for some reason almost every single dealer i have is markes as a cheat after playing some hours in but they're really not cheating?
However, punters breaking all machines is definitely the copy protection being activated.
People spontaneously dieing, or getting drunk is.
Employees all becoming unhappy, or spontaneously being set on fire, is too.
It can also corrupt the game text, mess with the camera, leak cash from the player, randomly blow up vehicles and fail to save games.
All in all, it was really stupid. I know for a fact the copy protection gave false positives even on the original DVD version. It was something we were forced to put in by the publisher.
Is there a way to increase the screen resolution size to my full screen with your update?
