NO ONLINE CO-OP!!!!!!

I notice there is now no mention of online co-op in the desription. Have they dropped it? Not only has it taken nearly 3 years to make a 2D scrolling beat 'em up, but it's possible one of the main selling points is no longer there. Do they honestly think everyone sits round a PC playing a game in the same room? It's 2016 not 1996. That's 3 sales lost if there's no online co-op and I'm sure many more!

Usually in the little mini descriptions on the side "Co-Op" means it's online. If it was local it would mention "Local Co-Op".

Look at the store description:

"Local Co-Op: Crack your knuckles and select a combatant to go it alone or rumble alongside friends in an ultraviolent co-op ruckus with up to four players."

So I tweeted them and they all but confirmed it. Local co-op only. Who plays ANY sort of local co-op on a PC?! It's 2016 as well! Seriously 3 years development and they couldn't even get the netcode to work for online play. These guys must really suck at coding. Well that's lost them my sale and that of my friends who were all going to play together online, I guess many more will not bother now. 3 years of work, seriously, may as well just play a Streets of Rage ROM or something now.

It's so annoying, you would think that would be why they were making the game, otherwise i can play local co op already on streets of rage. Maybe someone can mod it in like they did with Just Cause 2?

Yikes. This is going to hurt the sales immensely. I had a ton of doubts against another beat em up after how many DD Neon crashed on me. Now this looked promising but only local is just not plausible in my case.

I'm actually really disappointed. I was waiting so long for this game but I don't want to buy it without online co-op.

Yeah, I can't believe they pulled this ♥♥♥♥. A huge mistake, I was going to buy the special edition and give a copy to a friend, what the ♥♥♥♥ is the point now? Nobody sits in a group around a PC anymore. Absolutely gutted.

I know I'm in the minority, but it's not THAT big a deal for me to have no online coop at first. That said, it is a drag and does dissapoint me.

That said, the wiki page and several articles still claim it's online, for what it's worth.
