Mother Russia Bleeds

Mother Russia Bleeds

Worth the buy?
Looks good, I just see a lot of conflicting reviews. Please respond without "bias"

A lot of people who bought it are edgy russian teens who can barely speak english.

Of course it's hard to tell if the game is good or not.

Personally it's a good brawler but it's pretty buggy right now. Wait for a patch.

the game is fun, but not enough for repeat play. if u get it now, it may support the devs to do updates.
if not, wait for sale.

Don't touch it until they fix controller support at least, unless you plan to play on KB (but why would anyone do that, especially considering you can t even bind the arrows...).

Moves are too floaty and the game in general is more frustrating then enjoyable to play. My largest issue is the character goes from stop, to full speed when you move. Considering you need to be perfectly lined up to hit something this can cause a lot of headache. Thinking they spent more time on making the game look the part then play the part.

The game is pretty good, the music & art concept are something I havent seen in years, even If people compare this one with Sega and Capcom beat ´em ups. The downside is the poor "replay value", you can finish the game on 1 afternoon. You unlock some fighting arenas but nothing fancy there. If you really want to have the game on your Steam account wait for a better price, maybe they included Online Multiplayer for that time.

Wait until a sale. $15 for a 2-hour game with virtually no replay value is a bad deal.

It's a great beat 'em up with a varied and deep combat system. Well worth buying if you're a fan of beat 'em ups in general.

As for the price, it's a game you'll always be able to just pick up and play for as little or as long as you want, and supporting this game will show that there is a demand for beat 'em ups on the pc. So although it seems expensive I'm sure in the long run you'll get your money's worth. Especially if you play it co-op with friends.

Great game. You should buy it. Can't understand how somebody get the game done in 2 hours and don't see any replayability in this game.
2 hours: He probably rushed the game on easy and skipped all the dialogue scenes. At first try (on normal) it took me 6 hours (including reading dialogues).
Replayability: This game is full of. It's fu.cking local co-op. Also you got the Arena mode, which is pretty hard. You got achievements, different endings, drugs to unlock and more modes will come.

Already fixed.

This guy has 1 hour on record and haven't completed the game. 2-hour playthrough would be pretty fast.

-> If you think you like beat 'em ups like they used to be, and have friend(s) to play with you will love this game. I like this game even playing solo. If not and you are not ready to give an hour to learn it, then you probably think this game is too hard and unfair.

There are always some kids who write reviews but many Russians who played SoR in their childhood bought it, played and left reviews too. Especially considering the price: https://steamdb.info/sub/119236/
That's around $7 for 2 copies, kind of a good deal.
