Too edgy 5 me

I have a certain interest in that game, but like title says, it really is just so damn edgy, to the point of being cringy. And the pixel graphics again. It was a nice retro thing for a while, but can we please go back to 2016 now? It's growing real old, real fast. So yeah, just my opinion, might get it anyway or family share it.

I don't think it's trying to be overly-edgy. I think the art style is cool. The whole point of it is to be a throwback to the oldschool beat 'em ups of the late 80s and 90s. They did it on purpose because it was simple but effective and a homage to that era of games. The story is unique in itself and is supposed to be dark, it's what the devs wanted it to be. It's not trying to be overly-edgy. Postal 1 is a good example of something trying to be edgy to the point of being cringeworthy. All that aside, I've played a bit and it's actually pretty fun, moreso with friends so I'd reccommend it if you enjoy beat em ups.

and please mr teh ded pon don't talk about cringy because you have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OC Ponny as profile picture, you right now are the edgelord ... no wait you are the edgeGOD and you can say with a straight face that this game is "2 edgy almost cringy" ?

even if i grow up with an atari2600, c64 and amiga ...

in the first session i have similiar thoughts and 'feelings' mentioned here ...

but these games need the 'texture' of scanlines or a crt emulation ...so use the option crt in this game or create a own with reshade.
(even for the newer cave shoot em ups a filter prevent you to focus on single pixels ...a bit hard to explain ...german is my language of choice)

have fun and even more fun if you manage the keybindings and smashing buttons on an arcade board ...rocks!

good choice :) ...maybe you have to use hotkeys for rebinding (x-arcade tankstick)

The OC pony on my profile picture is an OC that was drawn for a guy who died of cancer. I will use it for some time to remember him, and for memories sake.
