Keyboard and Controller ar not working.

I can get as far as character selection, I can select the level, difficulty and friendly fire. I can't switch character or start a lvl. Controller is not responding at all. How is it working for you guys?

Same problem. I can't get past the character selection. Got a German keyboard layout.

Same, german keyboard, Xbox 1 and 360 controllers.

Just dug out my old 360 controller and still the same problem. Also remapped all keys to different settings and it won't work.

I think the game has a problem with foreign language keyboards and Windows Installations.

But there's me and Caveman with our QWERTZ keyboards and the game won't work. Also our controllers are not recognized.

star tthe game as controler player, the keyboard player can join ingame, in best case check config wich button is used or redefine the button for "start" i used backspace, worked fine

Having the same problem here. Portuguese keyboard here and I can't remap my buttons or even get past character selection.
After removing my controller from the USB port the controls seem to be working better although the controller wasn't even being recognized (besides the prompts being shown in XBOX 360 buttons).
Also on Windows 10 and changed my keyboard idiom to ENG (not sure this was the cause to make it better though).
Despite all of this I'm still waiting for help from the devs because we are not supposed to be jumping through hoops to play a game we bought (I still rather play it on the controller so some help would be appreciated here).

Totally agree with you, Devs should do something, it's not our job to fix their mistakes.

And, I will try to set my keyboard to ENG in a few to try if that was any helpfull.

Try making sure you only have ONE gamepad plugged in at a time. This seems to be a common issue with some games. I'm currently using an Xbox 360 controller. I also had issues getting it to work when I had another Flight Stick plugged in. After I unplugged that so my 360 controller was the only one plugged in it worked for me.

I pluged in only one, then none, both didn't work. I also deleted it from my Device manager-

I can get through the front menu,character/level select, special ability,friendly fire. But cannot actually start a game. I have tried just keyboard and just controller and neither will start a game.
