The difficulty of the game seems all over the place aswell to the point where it can be annoying, especially the railroad are with the oncoming trains.
I think so far the worst thing about this game however, not sure what country it was developed in but the godawful unfunny dialogue. The style and setting is there but they couldnt manage to make 1 single funny commentatry or event in the game yet. Ive never played a fighter that lacked so much passion for its story as this one, i felt like it was written by some 14 year old.
Oh and btw , seriously ? no enemy health bars in the game ? what kind of blasphemy is this ? 1 of the most satisfying elements of a brawler game is seeing the depletion of the enemy health bars be it common or a boss enemy. This game is utterly dissapointing so far. Not on the level of Castle Crashers or Fist Puncher bad but still pretty bad. Atleast the hit detection is alright you can feel the punches and stuff but some weapons for example have the same feel and sound effect like the bats etc. which is also a huge slipup imo.
This was a game i was really looking forward to when i saw it with the other 3 devolver games at the E3 2016 i think, sadly no one seems to be able to capture the magic and renew the brawler genre of the arcades. I think Dragons Crown on PS3/4 is the only one thats actually good so far.
The healing/draining/needle mechanics controls is also really hurting the game imo, it feels too annoying to even attempt due to the movement speed of the enemies. This game for me is such a missed opportunity.
Do you actually have anything constructive to say? While you have the walkie talkie equipped you do piss poor damage, you can throw the damn thing but then you'll be trying your chance at luck hoping you don't get knocked down and an enemy happens to pick it up. Its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level, nothing from that part says fun to me. Its not challenging, its just fustrating.
Its easy yet you don't explain how? Lol ok, tell me how easy it is when you're doing barely any damage and there's like 5-6 mobs on you? Unless you cheese your way through it with the dash then no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way is it easy.
For all possible questions follow this video.
Yea so he cheeses it with sliding like I said and some occasional throwing. You're not really proving that its easy when you have to rely on doing the same two things over and over to win it...
What? Spamming the same skills over and over is called cheesing it. You'd get criticized if you tried to button mash in a fighter, this is no different. I never said the fight was inpossible, I've done it before but I didnt finish the level so I need to do it again and its just a massive chore.
WTF I never said I hate the game, are you retarded? Its one of my favorite games but that doesn't mean I won't talk ♥♥♥♥ about it when developers add some stupid mechanic to a level. Its not just a simple thing, having a mechanic that relies on you cheesing with throwing and sliding just cheapens the experience, especially when you get more points for varied attacks.
3,4 hours played. 3 achivements. You didnt even complete game once. I can only imagine how huge your butthurt gonna be in levels 6-8 and especially on last boss.
