Turmoil won't connect to the internet

I bought the game yesterday and I have a bit more than an hour into the first campaign. I closed the game and now when I'm launching it the game says no internet connection and I am forced to start a new campaign.
After verifying caches, deleting config files, reinstalling the game etc etc it still won't work.(turn off anti virueses, vpns, everything)
I looked into the log files and it seems I'm getting a 503 unavailable for "https://turmoil-s01.net" in all of the calls.
Is this a personal or general issue? How can I fix this, or is it transient because the servers are offline or something?

Yea just got this while free on Epic and the "always online" message at launch was a HUGE turn-off. Shame too, seems like a fun little RNG-driven management game

@Patrom(Pat2) I got the same one. I don't like any game that requires me to stay actively online; specially it's a single player game.

All of a sudden, all my enthusiasm goes away and I uninstall the game. Really shameful.

I hope they're planning on renewing their Domain! It looks like it's set to expire next week.
