There is BUT, I don't think it would be correct to post game names by other devs here, unless the makers of this game say okay, after all, their trying to sell their stuff, no someone elses.
why you should not ? if you are interested in such games and look into the Turmoil discussions you will buy Turmoil anyway.
Sure you can discuss other games. But of course there are NO GAMES LIKE TURMOIL!!! ;)
from my POV, best mining games (at least by spent time)
Motherload
The Space Game
Harvest: Massive Encounter
but the last two focus on fighting as well so mining is 'only' on background but still important for strategy
and also I remember one game that was bit similar to motherload but with ocean theme. You should go replenish air and pile up resources in base to craft better equipment. Really can't find it nor remember name.
edit: and forgot on Factorio (don't check it if you don't known it yet and don't want to waste your whole life :D)
Seeing forward to see other tips :)
And im not asking because I want anything bad for the developers or anything.
Just really liked this game (which is a new genre for me), and want to check out similar games.
I already own Turmoil, I love it and will play it alot. Have also written a thumbs up review.
Thanks for the recommandations Pařanoik.CZ - will have a look at them.
Okay... In that case "The Oil Blue" might be worth checking out, look for oil in the water (Drilling Rigs) but don't let the back-pressure get too high. It's on Steam also.
