Is the game fixed?

I was watching a YT video and the horses and carts looked to be bugged. When delivering oil sometimes they would not fill up properly and just keep going back and forth with minimal oil.

Has this been fixed?

I want to buy but if the issue still exists Ill wait.

The horses only filling up minimally only happens if the flow of oil is very slow. Then the wagon will not wait until it's full but delivery to a silo or factory after some time. I think this is because let's say you want to sell oil from a rig when the price is right, then you want the wagon to do that soon and not when it is completely full (because then the price might have already dropped).

You can see he is trying to sell his oil but the horses (most of) are sort of ignoring the stockpile and only filling up slightly before selling. It seems to get worse as the missions progress. You will notice again at about 17:00.

Yeah, that behaviour was probably not intended (I didn't play back then). They don't move like that anymore, though. The wagon AI is not perfect, yet, but pretty solid for 95% of the situations. They can run into problems when you have extremely high flow rates, they don't start towards the rig fast enough - this is discussed in the thread "Wagon Bug" - but this is pretty rare.

Hi Nexis,
The build Blitz played is quite old. We've updated a lot since then, so everything has been improved upon, including Wagon AI.
Like benki says, sometimes with huge oil flow (3 maxed out pipes) Wagon AI can have some troubles, but otherwise it's solid.

I noticed that you had the cash and also two large oil deposts, when this happened to me I put two rigs on the same deposit to get more oil, as a result, I always ended up beating the AI (having more cash) by a huge amount. If the deposit was large enough I've even put 3 rigs on the same deposit in the early going of the game and have 2x or 3x more money then the AI by the end of the 3 or 6 month session, at (time line) 24:50 in the video you could have had 3 wells on the right deposit drawing triple the oil.

Yep, you pretty much cracked the game: draw all available oil as fast as you can, store it, and then sell when the price is right.
