Are Super Silo upgrades worth it?

How much more do they store? Visually it seems like a very small difference considering the cost of the technology and the cost to connect each time.?

Yes it is, or so we think. It basically gives you 3 silo's in the space of 2. Watch when you upgrade with 2 full silo's the oil will be at 2/3rd height.

Yeah I was wondering about the increase too, since the cost is high compared to buying another silo and upgrading it twice. Good to know that it adds 50%.

ok gotcha, Thanks! I greatly appreciate that in this game almost all of the upgrades make you really do some math to consider if certain upgrades are worth it, and they don't pay off right away. It's much more interesting than like in most games where you mindlessly upgrade everything because it's an obvious benefit right away.

By the way, is there game file somewhere that has barrel measurements/approximations in it? Obviously it's not necessary, but I've been playing this game so much and really got the hang of it I think it would be fun to start to think mathematically while I'm playing just for the fun of calculating. For example, how many barrels fit in a base/upgraded wagon? How many in a silo? stuff like that! or do you have maybe have an approximate number you can share? =P

Seems normal wagon holds aprox 195 barrels and upgraded one about 285. Too tricky to test silos.

OK nvm seems silo with 2x height upgrades holds approximately 3,400 bbl

In other words Super silos are your most space efficient choice. But not at all money efficient.
buying 3 ordinary twice upgraded silos costs 3x450 = 1350, a supersilo costs 2x450+750 = 1650.
I.E only worth it if you can't place another silo anywhere on the map.
