i cant play this game by my macbook

my macbook is 64bit and i did play well just 2 weeks ago. how to fix it?

Can you tell me more details about your problem? Does the game no longer launch?

I have the same issue, I was playing a week ago on my macbook pro (2020 13 inch, 256 g, 8ghtz ram, 64 bit), Now when I try to run the game from the steam menu a pop up comes up saying the game failed to start. The finder pop up says "You do not have permission to open the application "turmoil". I checked my permissions and restarted my mac and steam several times but the issue persists. There is also a steam error code which says "Failed to start process for Turmoil: 'OS Error 4294956470" I was overjoyed when I saw Turmoil was updated again to be played on 64 bit macs, and understand with new updates introducing multiplayer and fixing bugs that stuff like this could happen, totally understand and hope it's fixed soon, that's about all the info I can think of to provide atm ab this problem.

Thanks for the detailed report. I looked up the error code and it seems like Steam sometimes has trouble with game configurations on Mac after they change. You should be able to fix it by uninstalling the game, and if that does not work you can try removing all the game's files.

I was having this same problem, but I uninstalled and installed again (thanks @1000 Gibibit) and now it's working again!
