wagons ignoring rigs when spilling oil
first time in the 4th area, spilled oil for less than 3 seconds. cost me 10k in profits... first off, wtf is this 10k for 3 seconds of spilling ♥♥♥♥??? it was 1/5th that in last area.

second off, why are the wagons that im spawning ON THE RIG, running right past the rig to the silo, even while the rig is overflowing.

several wagons were on the way already, so maybe theres a "max limit" on wagons per rig, or maybe the priorities are wrong. either way, cost me 10k in fines, plus the money i wasted on the wagons that just ignored the spill...

i bought the first spillage upgrade to try and help with this. but if u cant let me assign tasks for a wagon (which would be hard in a game like this) then u gotta make em prioritize the rig thats right next to them, if its overflowing. or reduce the spillage fine, because this is broken IMO.

fix one or the other, cuz right now its unfair, and frustrating. no one wants to be frustrated playing a video game.......

I'm pretty sure that if you have wagons that are set to sell to either left or right co. it will prioritize the silos before going to the rigs. So always have some unassigned wagons. It may also be possible that all your silos were full. Another tip is to ge the valves upgrade. With that you can close rigs if you are spilling oil to stop the spillage.

thanks for the reply. i still dont know what to do, sometimes when i have max wagons, rigs overflow, and half the wagons are empty, or off doing other things, that should be considered less important

i have the valves upgrade, but it costs 150 to close and 150 to open, i thought spawning 2 wagons (same price) was a better choice. and these 2 wagons were just spawned, they had no sell order yet, and im pretty sure both my silos had room in em. positive at least 1 did. even if silo was full, the wagons will take oil and store it on them

Try to have wagons both selling and storing then, unless you decide to get more silos or upgrades. In that way, there will almost always be some space left in the silos.

perhaps im not explaining it well.

there WERE wagons selling, AND storing.

and there WAS space, in at least 1 silo. maybe more.

the NEW wagons i spawned, ran right past the overflowing pump, to another pump. to go store it. probably caused by the fact that the "job" was already reserved by a further wagon, that was on its way before i spawned the new wagons.

but the game would not update/detect this, and sent the NEW wagons, to a pump that was not even close to overflowing.

I think the way the algorithm works is that as soon oil becomes available it gets assigned to one wagon which will move to fetch it. Sometimes other wagons that are closer will just sit idle while the assigned wagon moves to the get the oil. It's a defect in the program.
