True, it was a bad example. But I just feel like the AI is too strong, because it does not make errors and always gets very high money, when there is a good plot and gas.
For example, like you said the AI's profit is calculated with the oil in a plot and the purchased upgrades of the AI. This does not take into account the possibilities of only having litte or few gas pockets. Or in the fourth land where you can grow these pockets, you may just find one and start to grow it in march or you will struggle and can only find one later in the year which leads to a smaller profit. The AI just does *always do everything right*. I think they are supposed to immitate the player's human competition, but they dont act like humans, they never make mistakes. Even in expert mode I dont think they should be flawless, more like very good in my oppinion. A flawless enemy is predictable, whereas humans are not.
That takes some realism out of the game, as a side note.
Dont get me wrong I do really love your game, I just wanted to point something out that bugs me a bit about it. Oh and thanks for replying.
They're quite beatable, you just won't be stomping em and every bit of ground you lose by screwing up will absolutely be taken by them.
